Exotic Popsicles: Tantalizing Flavors for Kids and Adults

Pulling out some exotically colorful popsicles are always a favorite treat at summer parties, birthday parties and get-togethers.  Kids will want them and adults will crave them, and even though you can make them using exotic recipes, they will be infused with healthy vitamins and minerals.  In fact, making your own batch of exotic popsicles is easy to do, and will have less sugar and syrup than store-bought versions.  Exotic popsicle recipes often call for the use of small chunks of fruit.  Therefore, simple tools such as mixing spoon, a mixing bowl, a blender and a popsicle tray are often the only things needed to get started.  Here are a few yummy recipe combinations your family will enjoy.  Don’t forget to invite your kids to help you make them.                 

Raspberries N Cream Crave Popsicles
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup Organic raspberries
6 oz Peach yogurt
1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. Lemon extract
3 Tbs. Honey or 1/2 cup sugar
Directions:
Step 1: Put 1/2 cup raspberries aside.
Step 2: Place all remaining ingredients in the blender and puree, until all ingredients are mixed well. 
Step 3: Cut raspberries into small chunks.
Step 4: Pour ingredients into popsicle trays.
Step 5: Add raspberry chunks.
Step 6: Slightly shake trays to distribute the raspberry chunks. 
Step 7: Insert the popsicle sticks and then add the tray to the freezer.   

Peachy Lychee Popsicles
Ingredients:
1 Peach (sliced)
1/2  cup Lychee fruit
1 Tbs. Lychee liquors
1 tsp. Almond extract
1 1/2 cup Fresh cream
1 ½ cup Yogurt
3 Tbs. Honey or 1/2 cup sugar
Directions:
Step 1: Cut lychee fruit and peaches into tiny chunks.
Step 2: Place fruit pieces and remaining ingredients into a mixing bowl.
Step 3: Stir the ingredients gently until evenly dispersed in the bowl.
Step 4: Pour the ingredients into the popsicle trays and then place in freezer.  

Island Banana Nut Popsicles 
Ingredients:
3 Bananas (medium)
1/2 oz Coconut nut milk
1 Tbs. Shredded coconut flakes  
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
2 Tbs. Honey or 1/4 cup sugar
1 oz Almonds (sliced)
Directions:
Step 1: Mash bananas in mixing bowl.
Step 2: Add coconut milk and remaining popsicle ingredients with bananas.
Step 3: Stir all ingredients until thoroughly dispersed.
Step 4: Pour mixture into the popsicle trays and then place the tray in the freezer.
